Transitional Realities

What I am saying is that while we still have some kind of political power we need to use it to change the current system for the better and prevent the systematic elimination of our individual and collective rights so we CAN bring about a new social paradigm. People that think we will do anything by just ignoring the problems with the current system are completely delusional. The changes we desire and that we need for any decent scrap of our civilization to survive will not just happen, and it will not and can not just happen over night.

The only way to fix our global society is through gradual but intentional and continuous improvement. Sudden catastrophic policy shifts could easily cause the deaths of millions of people. If money disappeared tonight, billions of people could die in less than a month. But if we first made food, clean water, and energy free for everyone, then we could remove the monetary system overnight and almost nobody would die from it.

There are unimaginable possibilities in which we can make changes in the current system that will bring about the global RBE we all desire. We must not only be politically active but promote activism. If there isn’t anyone worth voting for then we must find someone to support and get them on the ticket. If that tool shed Tim Eyman can be a political celebrity why the hell cant we?

If we want some media coverage for the movement, then let's get the signatures needed for some controversial initiatives, or lets find someone to replace Gregoire. Everyone in this movement needs to become more politically active if we are going to get anywhere in achieving our goals, I know a lot of people are jaded because of how corrupt the system is, but we can change things with enough people who understand what it is that we are advocating.
